Frequently Asked Questions

How many does the lodge sleep?

The lodge sleeps a maximum of 9 people.  There is a king-size master bedroom (with en suite), a triple room, a twin room and a blow-up mattress provided, which can be used in the lounge (see the layout on the left hand side of this page).

Does the number of occupants affect the price?

No.  The lodge is sold as a 9-berth holiday home.  Prices will only vary according to the date and length of stay.  Details of pricing and availability can be found at www.tattershallriverviewlodges.co.uk/availability

Can I bring pets?

No.  Unfortunately, we do not accept dogs or any other pets at the lodge.

Is there wheelchair access to the lodge?

No.  Unfortunately, at present we do not have wheelchair access to the lodge.

Can I smoke in the lodge?

No.  Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the lodge or in the decking areas.  You can smoke next to the property on the grass or concrete areas but you must take care to ensure that all cigarettes are put out properly so as to prevent a fire risk.

Is there WiFi at the lodge?

There is complimentary high-speed mobile WiFi provided at the Riverview Lodge.  However, please carefully note that the provision of WiFi is not part of our contract with you, and it is not factored into the price of bookings.  We are not in any position to guarantee access to the internet and we have no liability as part of bookings to provide internet access.

Please note that the site operators, Away Resorts, do have their own broadband provider (WiFi hotspot) for anybody staying on site.  Their website states the following:

"There is a free WiFi option which offers unlimited data but limited speed which you can connect as many devices as you want to it. Due to the limited speed, this is better used for casual internet browsing, Facebook and Twitter and checking emails."

Please kindly note that we have no involvement in the WiFi provided by Away Resorts and we would be unable to resolve any issues with it.  As Away Resort's website also states "park wide WiFi is available, however please note that due to our park being a country park we cannot guarantee access to the internet."

See the Away Resorts official website, here, for further details about Wifi on site:
